But factory speakers often sit in square, oval, or otherwise irregular mounts that don’t match the round DIN size of standard aftermarket speakers.

For new models, rare vehicles, or unusual speaker combinations, there’s sometimes simply no off-the-shelf solution yet.

Instead of improvising, we develop the solution for this one specific case: you send us the speaker you want to fit and the original, factory-fitted mount from the vehicle. Our engineering team scans both parts, designs the matching ring in CAD and prints it on our own machines – using the same technology we rely on for our prototyping work.

Contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp, or the contact form and tell us the vehicle, the speaker you want to fit, and the mounting location (e.g. front door, left side).

02 — SEND-IN
Send us the original parts
Send us the new speaker (the original speaker) and the original, factory speaker mount from the vehicle. Both parts are the reference for the design work.

03 — MEASURING
3D scan & CAD design
Using our 3D laser scanner, we precisely capture the contour, mounting depth, and fixing points, then design the matching ring in CAD.

04 — CHECK
Function check
Before production, we test the design against the original parts you sent in, to make sure fit and fixing are exactly right.

05 — PRODUCTION
In-house 3D printing
The ring is printed using FDM technology on our own equipment — no external supplier involved.

06 — SHIPPING
Receive your first set
You receive your first set of speaker rings — free of charge for your first set, when you’ve sent in the original speaker and original mount.

Turnaround depends on the complexity of the mount and our current workload in design and production. Once we’ve reviewed your enquiry and the parts you’ve sent in, we’ll give you a concrete timeline.

Your first set is free of charge, provided you send us the original speaker and the original speaker mount. For repeat orders of additional sets, we’ll put together an individual quote.

Yes. Only with the new speaker and the original, factory-fitted mount from the vehicle can we scan both parts precisely and design a ring that truly fits.

In the vast majority of cases, yes. In very tight installation situations there can be technical limits — we’ll clarify this with you during the initial conversation, before any parts are shipped.

As a full-range aftermarket distributor, acv supplies exclusively to the specialist trade. Speaker Rings on Demand is accordingly aimed at car audio retailers, installation studios, workshops, and dealerships.

With sufficient demand, an on-demand solution can be added to our regular range of more than 6,000 items — other trade partners then benefit from it too.

We print using the FDM process with high-quality technical plastics, on the same equipment we use for our prototyping work, including Stratasys and Bambu Lab printers.

After your first contact with us by phone, email, WhatsApp, or the contact form, we’ll confirm the shipping address and your contact person with you. Only then do you send the speaker and original mount to acv GmbH, Straßburger Allee 10-12, 41812 Erkelenz, Germany.
