Great interest in new acv solutions for vehicle retrofitting

From 16 to 18 May, acv presented itself at Customized 2025 in Salzburg – and our conclusion is consistently positive: Three intensive days full of exciting discussions, strong customer contacts and great interest in our latest product innovations.

A particular highlight was the interest in our latest developments in the field of steering wheel remote controls – a key topic for many of our customers and partners from the car audio and aftermarket sector. In addition, our new info interfaces (info adapters) and the new installation accessories provided plenty to talk about at the stand.

Both the info interfaces and the installation accessories are expected to be available from July 2025. Detailed information on the range of functions, compatibility and availability will follow shortly via our known channels.

Product Innovations in Focus: Successful Exchange with Dealers and Partners

Silverstone – the legendary motorsport location – was the venue for the exclusive JVCKENWOOD Dealer Event in early April. We were invited as JVCKENWOOD car-hifi accessories partner and used the opportunity to showcase our latest product innovations and aftermarket solutions.

At the heart of our booth were the new radio fitting kits and our steering wheel control adapters, which allow seamless integration of aftermarket radios into a wide variety of vehicle models. Dealer interest was high – especially due to the excellent compatibility, easy installation, and outstanding quality of our solutions.

Partnership-Based Exchange at Eye Level

In addition to the product presentation, the focus was on direct dialogue with participating dealers and the JVCKENWOOD team. The exchange provided valuable insights for future developments and highlighted the importance of close cooperation in the automotive accessories market.

acv GmbH expands its product portfolio with the launch of the new 42a and 42x series steering wheel control interfaces. These innovative adapters set new standards in the integration of aftermarket devices into vehicles, offering outstanding quality, reliability, and user-friendliness.

The 42a series with analog and CAN-bus adapters offers a variety of advantages, making them the ideal choice for your needs. The CAN adaptations build on the long-established CX401 base. All analog adaptations are newly developed in close collaboration with our partner exclusively for acv, taking into account all current market requirements and cable set updates.

In parallel, the 42x series is characterized by maximum versatility and vehicle-specific precision. It allows for the seamless conversion of the vehicle’s OEM infotainment system while preserving key control functions like the steering wheel remote control and maintaining the OEM sound system. The included multi-lead enables steering wheel remote controls to be directly connected to various aftermarket devices.
